Crescent Road Airbnb
For Micasa Investments, I consulted on the design and setup of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom Airbnb in Claremont, sourcing and equipping the entire apartment. The design aimed for a warm, cozy, and natural feel, using a palette of browns, creams, and burnt orange to create an inviting atmosphere. Black accents maintained a sleek, modern aesthetic, tying into the apartment’s black-and-white base design.
Living Room

A unique challenge was the slanted back wall in the living room, which I addressed through strategic furniture placement to balance and optimize the space. Carefully selected decor - including mirrors to enhance depth, woven textures, gold accents, and lush greenery - added character and a natural flow, ensuring the apartment felt both grounded and effortlessly stylish.

Master Bedroom
For the master bedroom, I aimed to create a light, airy, and inviting space with a soft, neutral palette. I used light creams, beige, and soft browns, complemented by gold accents that blend seamlessly with the warm flooring. To maintain a sense of spaciousness, I carefully selected artwork that was visually interesting yet subtle in tone. The black elements in the painting help tie in the apartment’s black-and-white interior, creating harmony between the bedroom and the overall design aesthetic.

Secondary Bedroom
For the secondary bedroom, I wanted to introduce a touch of colour while keeping it cohesive with the rest of the unit. I chose green - a natural, grounding hue and incorporated two tones of it, which are reflected in the selected artwork. To create a soft, inviting atmosphere, I used gentle curves in the headboard and mirror, adding warmth and flow to the space. Playful marble lamps bring a subtle touch of personality, balancing sophistication with a relaxed, welcoming feel.
